National Enhanced Autism Training Programme for Psychiatrists - 23 March

We are pleased to invite psychiatrists in England who may wish to develop a specialist interest in autism, to participate in a National Enhanced Autism Training Programme for Psychiatrists.  

The programme will equip specialist autism psychiatrists (or those seeking to develop into autism specialists) with the clinical skills needed to deliver enhanced autism support, including diagnosis, co-morbidity, and therapeutic approaches.  

The development and delivery of this programme has been funded by Health Education England – attendance is free. We have 50 places available which will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. 

The programme will begin with a full day in-person only event on 23 March 2023 at the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London. This will be followed up by a series of eLearning modules and learning resources, supported by mentoring and peer to peer support and requiring some guided self-study. The total study time required is approximately 48 hours. Participants will be able to complete the course at their own pace, over the course of a year. 

To register for the course you must be able to attend the live in-person event in London on 23 March.
